The Operational Medical Networks Informatics Integrator (OMNII) is
Singapore’s first nationwide Pre-hospital Emergency Care (PEC) digital
project between SCDF and Ministry of Health (MOH). The OMNII system is a
common collaborative platform linking all PEC stakeholders including 995
Call Centre, SCDF Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and hospitals’
Emergency Departments (EDs) across the PEC services, so that they will
be able to view, share and document relevant patient data seamlessly to
improve patient care management throughout the continuum of care.
Upon incident dispatch, the patient’s medical history from the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) systems can be pushed automatically to the OMNII app to guide the paramedic with clinical and operational decision-making if the patient’s NRIC is known. En-route to the hospital, real-time data of patient’s vital signs and incident photos could be transmitted seamlessly to the hospital so that the EDs can pre-register the patient and prepare necessary resources to treat critical cases prior to arrival, thus saving invaluable time.
