Home Team’s Tiered Approach to Emergency Medical Services
Implemented in 2017, Phase One of EMS Tiered-Response System has
allowed SCDF to effectively-triage EMS calls according to the
severity of each case, where priority is given to life-threatening
cases.
Since April 2019, SCDF has commenced Phase Two of the EMS Tiered-Response System to further augment EMS response for life-threatening cases that are critically time-sensitive.
